Seen in The Sunday Times: Maldives on a floating bunkbed

Onboard our traditional Maldivian dhoni

One of the alternatives ways to explore the Maldives is on a traditional dhoni. The Sunday Times writer Francesca Angelini experienced it on our 6-day Maldives Dhoni Cruise that she joined with a small group.

Trip highlights include:

  • > Cruise the tranquil waters of the Maldives on an authentic Dhoni
  • > Snorkel and explore the marine life beneath the waves
  • > Unwind on some of the most beautiful white sandy beaches in the world
  • > Savour delicious meals prepared fresh by your personal chef
  • > Relax at overnight moorings amongst the atolls

Given that the territory is 99.9% water, this is arguably the most authentic way to do it.

When planning a cruise holiday, some of us may envision ourselves relaxing for most of the time on one of the decks onboard. Francesca however describes how she experienced the total opposite. No reading in a deckchair involved in this trip.
