    All our Nepal expeditions come with a complimentary souvenir kit bag and use of a climbing pack – that's free use of a sleeping bag, down or fibre fill jacket and insulated sleeping mat valued at over US$500. 

    When required, use of crampons, climbing helmet, ropes and certain climbing gear for pass crossings is also provided along with all group technical equipment.

    Best ratio of guides
    The general ratio can be between 2 and 4 climbers to 1 mountaineering guide, so when summit day arrives, you’ll receive personal attention and encouragement if the climb proves to be difficult. On some climbs, there is a 1:1 climber to guide/climbing sherpa ratio (check the trips inclusions for exact details).

World firsts

We proudly pioneered trails in Nepal and the Indian Himalaya that had never before been used commercially, including the Api Himal and a traverse from Kashmir to Ladakh through Zanskar (1983). We offered the first ever trekking trip to Tibet (1991) as well as piloted the first commercial opportunity to walk the Great Himalaya Trail (2010) linking the high passes from Nepal’s most eastern to western borders. We’re always looking to provide new and unique experiences to get you off the well-trodden trails.
