Montenegro

Montenegro is one of the most diverse and rewarding walking destinations in the Balkans, where dramatic mountain landscapes meet the Adriatic coast. Despite its small size, the country offers remarkable variety, from historic coastal towns to remote highland trails shaped by centuries of tradition.

On our guided walking journeys, you explore some of the most spectacular mountain terrain in the region. Trails wind through the Dinaric Alps and the Accursed Mountains, linking traditional villages across Montenegro and its neighbouring Balkan countries, where daily life still follows long-established rhythms.

Beyond the mountains, Montenegro’s cultural heritage is evident in its medieval towns, stone villages and the striking Bay of Kotor. Here, Venetian influences and Balkan traditions come together, offering insight into a region shaped by both coastal and highland life.

Walking in Montenegro provides a genuine connection to the Balkans, combining rugged scenery, cultural depth and well-designed routes that take you far beyond the main ?????? paths.
