Today will be exploring the Riveria Maya on a captivating journey exploring the remnants of ancient civilisation. Begin your adventure with a captivating introduction to Mayan culture enroute to Coba. Coba is a large Mayan site, one of the few to retain it’s original Maya name Ko’ba (translating to uneven water). Marvel at the Nohoch Mul Pyramid for its impressive views of the surrounding forest. Afterwards, rejuvenate with a refreshing swim in one of the stunning cenotes, where an exhilarating waterside leap awaits. Indulge in a delectable buffet-style lunch when we head to a local Mayan community for a traditional drink and lunch. After lunch we head to the Tulum Archaeological Zone, perched atop a bluff with stunning ocean views. Explore these ancient Mayan ruins which includes temples, pyramids, and ball courts. Listen to fascinating stories about the site’s discovery during a guided tour, and savour free time for exploration and photography. Tuckered out from a long day of adventuring we will take you back to your hotel in the Riviera Maya. Overnight: Cancun, Playa del Carmen or Tulum
