Our List of Firsts

Pioneering adventure travel since 1975

Innovation has always been central to World Expeditions. From opening new regions to small group adventure travel to setting ethical standards that continue to shape the industry, we’ve been leading from the front for five decades.

What began as a Himalayan trekking company has evolved into a global adventure travel organisation operating across all seven continents. Along the way, we’ve pioneered routes, experiences and responsible travel practices that many others now follow.
