Overview

This new self-guided style of trekking is perfect for those wanting freedom, flexibility and the opportunity to journey to the base of the world's highest mountain at their own pace. Our carefully devised itinerary factors in safe acclimatisation - the key to trekking in high altitude. Trek in peace knowing that will be supported by World Expeditions' decades of experience, day to day route descriptions, detailed maps and local porters all whilst supporting responsible tourism practices. Relax each night at our private eco-campsites with standing tents, thick mattresses and off ground beds or handpicked eco-lodges. This picturesque trek leads through rustic Sherpa villages and slowly ascends through lush valleys to alpine landscapes beneath Himalayan giants. A final traverse over glacial moraine will take you to Everest Base Camp and Kala Pattar and your hard work will be rewarded with breathe taking views many consider to be the pinnacle of the Himalayas. A perfect trek for solo travellers, a group of friends, couples or families wanting to experience magic of Nepal their own way.
