Project Summary: Nepal, Junbesi School Upgrade

Participants on our Junbesi School CPT trip | Ken Whitney
Participants on our Junbesi School CPT trip | Ken Whitney

Year: 2008

Achievements: Renovated the existing school house including the repair and painting of the internal walls. The group also paved a new pathway outside of the school building.

Impact: The new internal walls will ensure that the school building is resistant against the cold temperatures and weather. The painting of the internal walls created a brighter and more positive learning environment. The new paved path ensures the safety of the children since the previous path was uneven and dangerous.

One of the tasks at Junbesi school was to complete a path and stop water leaking into the building | Ken Whitney The completed path will have a huge impact on the school, allowing proper drainage around the buidings | Ken Whitney Our CPT programs require participants to get in and get their hands dirty | Ken Whitney The new science building at Junbesi | Ken Whitney
