On arrival in Ushuaia you will be transferred from the airport to the hotel for overnight accommodation. The remainder of the day is for leisure but there is plenty to see and do in this amazing village, start the day by visiting the historic Maritime and Prison Museum to learn about the city’s unique past. In the afternoon, ride the chairlift to Glaciar Martial for stunning views and an easy hike. Later, stroll along San Martín Street for local crafts and souvenirs. End your day with a delicious dinner featuring Patagonian specialties like king crab or lamb, and unwind with a local beer or hot chocolate. Overnight Hotel Altos or similar.

Heading out from Ushuaia, the experience starts with a guided hike along scenic trails of low to moderate difficulty, allowing you to fully engage with the natural surroundings. These walks are suitable for those with a basic level of fitness and appropriate outdoor clothing. Around midday, near the banks of the Lapataia River, lunch will be served inside a heated dome-tent - providing shelter from wind or rain while offering stunning panoramic views of the landscape. After lunch, you will be provided with rubber boots, waterproof overpants, and life jackets in preparation for the next part of the adventure: a paddling excursion. Departing from Lake Acigami, you will navigate calm waters in inflatable canoes (duckies) for approximately one hour. The route follows the Lapataia and Ovando rivers, eventually reaching the sea at Lapataia Bay. The canoeing portion concludes near the southern terminus of Route 3 - also known as the Pan-American Highway- marking a symbolic end to the journey. Overnight: Hotel Altos or similar

Depart from your hotel to Ushuaia’s tourist wharf, where you’ll board a catamaran to sail the waters of the Beagle Channel along Ushuaia Bay, offering panoramic views of the city. The journey follows the northern shore of the channel, passing through the Archipelago Bridges and the iconic Les Eclaireurs Lighthouse—known as the “End of the World.” Along the way, you’ll spot large colonies of seabirds nesting on islands and cliffs, as well as groups of sea lions and various marine birds such as cormorants, albatrosses, petrels, and oystercatchers. After visiting the lighthouse, the cruise continues toward Estancia Remolino and Gable Island. The final stop is Martillo Island, home to a colony of Magellanic penguins who nest here annually. After observing these charming birds, you’ll return to Ushuaia, disembark, and be transferred back to your hotel. Overnight: Hotel Altos or similar
